The ancient seaside town, situated on a peninsula 68 km south-east of Antalya Airport.
Title of Side means "pomegranate" and symbolized fertility.
The history of the town is a chronology of VII century BC, since the founding of the first settlement by Greek colonists. After capturing the city of pirates Side becomes the center of the slave South Mediterranean. Then comes the period of Roman domination, the city became the center of culture and art. It was by this time the creation of well-known architectural monuments and unique creations of sculptors, many of which survived until our days. This is an ancient theater, up 20 thousand spectators, the temples of Athena and Apollo, the Necropolis, the Roman thermal baths in which the archaeological museum, which exhibits an interesting collection of antique period.

CHOLAKLY located 14 km from Side. At this point, are popular tourist complex, famous for the beautiful golden sandy beaches. It is an ideal place for lovers quietly relaxing holiday.
KUMKEY Side of the nearest resort zone, located just 3 km from the city. Beautiful bay with flat beaches, shallow coastal waters, stunning sandy beaches attract tourists of different age groups, especially parents with children.
TITREENGEL located 7 kilometers east of Side. For the region is characterized by a combination of natural sandy beach with shady green pine forest. Last year there was built a few modern recreation centers. Some hotels are located on the second line of the beach (400-500 meters from the sea), offering free transfers from the hotel to the beach.
MANAVGAT. This small village is situated 6 km north-east of Side, on the shores of the same river. Here you can personally observe the lifestyle of typical Turkish village, to visit a real Turkish bazaar, which runs on weekends, take a fascinating tour of the mountain river.
